“The Noah story belongs to all of us – every religion, every culture, every citizen of planet Earth. Now it is your turn: the story is yours to envision.” – Darren Aronofsky’s introduction to “Fountains of the Deep: Visions of Noah and the Flood” – the gallery exhibition of Noah inspired artwork which opened Friday night in New York and will run through March 28 when the film opens. The gallery is at 462 West Broadway if you can go see it in person. First showing has a look at some of the art work including this piece by Jim Lee. Looks almost like he was channeling Russell as Noah.
