Translation of news from Turkey thanks to Mine Gursel:
“Shooting #theWaterDiviner continues in Istanbul. Filming of the movie which includes Cem Yılmaz and Yılmaz Erdoğan as cast has started in Cemberlitas Turkish Bath and Topkapi Palace. The two Turkish actors arrived early for the preparations at the baths.
Worldwide famous actor #RussellCrowe came to Istanbul the other day, to shoot the Water Diviner for which he’s included Cem Yilmaz and Yilmaz Erdogan in the cast. Following the scenes filmed in Australia, Russell Crowe continues with the project in Istanbul. Yesterday, the crew filmed the scenes in Cemberlitas Turkish Bath. The trucks with technical equipment were located at the square. The Turkish actors of the movie, Cem Yilmaz and Yilmaz Erdogan arrived early to check on the setting.
* Following Yilmaz and Erdogan, Russell Crowe arrived with two bodyguards -one of whom was Turkish. The announcement on the door of the baths stating “We’ll be closed during February 24th-28th due to maintenance and repair” revealed that the baths had been closed for five days to shoot the scenes which lasted for only one day.”

According to the news on @gazetesozcu, 26.02.2014:
“@russellcrowe enjoyed a night out at Asmalimescit with @CMYLMZ and @yilmazerdogan. While Cem Yilmaz was the first to leave the party, he joked seeing the reporters: “Leave me alone, there’s Hollywood in there”. Next to leave was Yilmaz Erdogan, and Russell Crowe left around 1 a.m. The street musicians asked for money while the Hollywood star was leaving the party location (i.e., title of the news: Brother Russell, money!) and the crew is reportedly taking one week off in Istanbul before starting Turkish leg of filming #theWaterDiviner.”
