Interview with Horse Trainer for Winter’s Tale

The Mansfield News Journal has an WTimageinterview with Cari Swanson, who procured and trained the horses for Winter’s Tale.  She’s the woman we’ve seen in photos with Russell, tending to his mount, Tuff, during shooting.  Here’s an excerpt:

“I’d have to say I’ve been really lucky with actors who have always have been very respectful,” Swanson said. “Russell Crowe came with a reputation of being very difficult, and he was amazing to work with. He was so good and smart and respectful. He appreciated the horses, and he appreciated they weren’t his horses. He worked very much with us. It was the same with Colin Farrell.”
