From the Daily Telegraph:
RUSSELL Crowe and his high-powered entourage will tonight move from his private box on the western side of ANZ Stadium to a new suite on the eastern side to be closer to The Burrow, South Sydney’s vocal supporter group.
The Daily Telegraph can reveal Crowe made the request ahead of this afternoon’s massive Good Friday match between Souths and the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Crowe’s private box has been situated on the western side for nearly a decade but tonight he is on the move.
The Burrow will position themselves in the southeast corner of ANZ Stadium and Crowe will sit directly behind.
In an email yesterday, Crowe confirmed he would be shifting locations.
“Yes, that’s correct,” Crowe said.
“The Burrow is going from strength to strength. Have you heard them lately? The songs and their enthusiasm is great for our players and the game-day atmosphere.”
