Russell Crowe is taking a break from acting to work on his music career – with a little help from Sting.
The pair have been jamming in Australia where Sting, 59, is on tour and hope to record a number of tracks together.
They’re also planning a one-off gig with 46-year-old Crowe’s band, The Ordinary Fear Of God.
‘Russell and Sting are great friends and often talk about music,’ said a pal. ‘Russell wants to take a break from acting to focus on music and directing.’
Yes, I know, it’s the Mail and suspect based on the source, but Russell and Alan Doyle opened for Sting October 6, 2006 in London. Any music news is something I want to believe anyway.
