Russell wants to see me dance on Seven

He might be on the far side of the globe, but Danielle Spencer knows she will have husband Russell Crowe's full support when she twirls into Dancing With The Stars tonight.

While she admits the Oscar-winning actor initially questioned her decision to compete in Seven's TV dance-off, Spencer said he had since "come round" and was looking forward to watching her perform.

"Initially he did say: 'Why?"' Spencer, 42, told The Sunday Telegraph. "But look, he's been very supportive. He's someone who likes to take on a physical challenge when he does various roles.

"So I think he understood that aspect of it."

While Crowe will be forced to watch her debut via satellite - he is filming Les Miserables alongside Hugh Jackman in Britain - Spencer
said he would probably pop up in the
audience if she survived long enough.
